PAYE and Payday Filing

Payroll support that helps you calculate deductions and file employment information on time.

PAYE and employer deductions

Employers are responsible for working out and deducting PAYE and any other deductions that apply, such as the ACC earners’ levy, student loan repayments, KiwiSaver and child support.

The amounts deducted need to be reported and paid to Inland Revenue. We can help set up the payroll process, review calculations and keep the records organised.

File information after every payday

You must file employment information each time you pay employees. If you file electronically, Inland Revenue requires it within 2 working days of each payday. Paper filers generally have 10 working days.

We can prepare and file employment information, correct errors and help you keep employer deductions up to date.

General information only, checked against official New Zealand guidance on 20 July 2026. Your obligations depend on your circumstances. Contact us for advice about your situation.
